Getting Inked at Khao San Road, Bangkok (Day 8)

We arrived 6am in Khao San Road. Checked in at 7 holder guesthouse, double bed fan room with shared bathroom, costs 300 baht. Shared it with a fellow backpacker so 300/2 = 150 baht/head.

I forgot to take a picture of the room again :D But it looks like this:

Just got this picture in the internet but this is also at 7 holder guesthouse. After checking in, I went outside to buy fruits for breakfast, costs 20 baht. Then, I went back again in my guesthouse to rest and sleep.

After getting enough sleep, I walked through Khao San Road to look for a good and clean tattoo shop. I decided not to get a Sak Yant anymore because an American guy advised me to be careful because I might get AIDS plus the taxi drivers were asking for 1000baht just to get to Wat Bang Phra (temple where to get Sak Yant or the traditional thai tattoo).  I really want to get a Sak Yant but it’s already late and i have to leave early tom for Siem Reap, Cambodia(booked my ticket at Best Travel for 350baht). So, maybe next time :D

After checking all the tattoo shops along Khao San Road, I’ve decided to get inked at BKK Ink Tattoo Studio. It’s so clean and it really looks professional :)

I got my tattoo for 1300baht. Minimum is 1000 baht. They first charged me 1500 baht, but I’m the type of person who always ask for a discount! Lol. So they just charged me 1300 baht :) 1300 baht is still kinda expensive for a small tattoo, but I’m in Khao San Road and all tattoo shops there ask for a minimum of 1000 baht. If you want a cheap and good tattoo, you can head up north, in Chiang Mai :)
